Description
The Smart Museum of Art is a global site for art and culture, scholarly inquiry, and community engagement at the University of Chicago. The Smart Museum brings many parts of the University together, creating an environment in which students and scholars from different fields of study learn from one another through their exchange with art. Through its annual schedule of exhibitions, accompanying publications, and dynamic public programs, the Museum serves the campus community as well as its South Side neighborhood and beyond.
Donations are applied to...
Your gift on Giving Day will benefit Smart Museum programs and initiatives that engage UChicago students of all stripes. Art to Live With, yoga at the Smart, internship and research opportunities, open mic nights and poetry slams: the Smart is a hub for creative activity on campus.
Why are donations necessary?
The generosity of alumni, former interns, docents, gallery attendants, parents, art lovers, and participants in the Art to Live With program allows the Smart to meet essential needs and give back to its community. Please help keep the Smart free and open to all!
