Description
The Pritzker School of Medicine’s students are the innovators and problem solvers who will create tomorrow’s breakthroughs and expand the frontiers of medicine. At Pritzker students move easily between research and care, study across scientific disciplines, and receive their education from some of the most renowned experts in their fields. It’s why many Pritzker graduates go on to become leaders at academic medical centers—where health discoveries are made.
Donations are applied to...
Last year we took the first step in moving to a debt-free environment by providing full-tuition scholarships to more than 50 percent of the incoming class. In year two we are once again providing more than 50 percent of this year’s incoming class with full-tuition scholarships. Support from donors like you help accelerate the pace of our progress.
Why are donations necessary?
By increasing scholarship support for students, we aim to remove the economic barriers between the most promising students and their aspirations of making an impact on their communities and our world. This Giving Day you can invest in the next generation of physicians, researchers, educators, and health care innovators.
“Each year at Pritzker, I feel immensely grateful that I can foster new connections and learn from invaluable mentors. I can push myself in a way I did not know was possible because of the belief in myself Pritzker has instilled and the independence I am granted. My peers and I can strive for excellence because of people like you who generously support the Pritzker School of Medicine.”—Stanton Greenstone, Pritzker School of Medicine student representative, University of Chicago Medicine & Biological Sciences Alumni Council
