Harris School of Public Policy

The Harris School of Public Policy is excited to announce two generous giving challenges from alumni Bofei Ma, MPP’15, and Pamela Peak, MPP’05, on Giving Day 2025!

Here's the challenge:
  • If we reach 75 gifts on Giving Day, Pamela Peak, MPP’05, will contribute $5,000 to the Harris Fund.
  • If we reach 150 contributions, Bofei Ma, MPP’15, will make a $10,000 gift to the Harris Fund.

Every gift counts toward our goals! Join us today in helping to unlock these challenges and make a lasting impact. Your donation will support the next generation of leaders in public policy.

Why support the Harris School of Public Policy?

Over the past decade, Harris has strategically grown from approximately 20 faculty members and 300 graduate students to nearly 60 faculty members and 1,400 students. The school now also manages one of the largest undergraduate majors on campus. This reputation-enhancing growth has enabled major initiatives in policy areas such as energy, education, democracy, and public safety, positioning Harris as a key player in University-wide efforts. It has also amplified our impact through public and private sector engagement, executive education, and a growing network of influential alumni. Harris is poised to become the world’s leading academic institution for evidence-informed policy over the next decade.

To achieve this, we plan to leverage our growth to build upon our outstanding programs in research, teaching, and engagement. These ambitions will require new resources and avenues of financial support. Today’s most pressing challenges demand bold, evidence-informed, serious-minded leaders, and the Harris School is prepared to equip our community to make a meaningful difference in addressing them.
