Why are donations necessary?
Your gift to TAPS at UChicago makes it possible for students and faculty alike to explore how the art of performance thinks. Thanks to the unparalleled opportunities for scholarly exchange within UChicago’s unique academic landscape, TAPS has established strengths in East Asian theater studies, Black performance, early modern critical race studies, French Neoclassical theater, movement theory, new play development, and devised work. This Giving Day, we need your support to expand on this momentum and make the University of Chicago a distinctive world-class hub for the combined study and practice of theater and performance.
