Student creativity thrives at the Logan Center

The Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts is a place that inspires creative exploration in all generations; it is a place to make and experience art. Our capacity to do so is directly linked to our strong and enthusiastic community of supporters. With your help, we bolster student artistic experience and faculty research and connect that work to great artists and arts organizations in the community while providing platforms for artists hyperlocally and globally to deepen their practice, kindle collaborations, and attract new audiences.

Invest in arts access for our University and community

Your gift to the Logan Center during Giving Day supports our students creative exploration, allowing them to create, contemplate, and experienceoften in partnership with artists in our communitythrough a wide range of annual activities: 250 University art courses and more than 750 public events, including performances, exhibitions, screenings, concerts, lectures, workshops, K12 school matinees, youth and family activities, and more.

Unlock an additional $5,000 with your Giving Day donation!

William W. Flachsbart (SB’91) has challenged 40 donors to join him in supporting the Logan Center as it enables students, faculty, and community members to experience, create, and contemplate art. If we receive support from 40 donors on Giving Day, William Flachsbart will donate an additional $5,000 to the Logan Center!

Why are donations necessary?

Your gift to the Logan Center is an investment in academic excellence and innovative creative arts practice at the University of Chicago. Your generosity helps us support students, faculty, and staff; their partnerships with local artists and arts organizations; and a thriving and creative Chicago.
