The Institute of Politics (IOP) empowers the next generation of civic leaders, thinkers, and public servants by creating pathways for students to explore public service, the democratic process, journalism, and the challenges that permeate public policy. Through workshops, treks, and student-led programs, students develop the tools to become leaders, advocates, and public servants. The IOP also facilitates 300 fully funded internships each year—across the country and around the world—where students engage in a range of fields related to politics and public service.
IOP programs foster a culture of free expression and civil discourse. A gift to the Institute of Politics will enable students to learn and lead beyond the classroom as citizens and changemakers.
